it was just an idea i had during having supper with a friend as i saw the nice reflection of our lamp in the cup.
it was funny to see his face as i stood up and came again with the cam and the tripod and then how i tried to get a nice pic while my cup was getting cold. now for sure he's thinking that i'm crazy :crazy: ;-)

:lol: nice - but the reflection is great - kind of looks like a top is in there - if I would of saw something like that I would of also taken a pic...but I probably would of used the camera on my cell phone...yeah...Im lazy - great pic

Ah, that’s funny. (And you’re using the new toy now ;) )
At the first glace it looked like kinda lid or inset of an espresso maker (with bottom up) being put on the cup ;P
Thanks for sharing this nice and funny background story :laughing:
Also I like the composition and how you’ve faded out the background towards the edges. And the beautiful coffee-like tones fit really well with this topic. :clap:
Did you do some altering on them?

no i didn't do something altering, i just took the picture, faded the edges out and added the frame, that was all. the colour comes only from the light and wood from the table. :-)
